Diane G. Wilson - Optometrist
Dr. Diane Wilson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rockhurst University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1984. In 1988, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. Following optometry school, she completed a residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in St. Louis. Dr. Wilson provides comprehensive eye care including prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses, refractive surgery consultation, and ocular disease management. She has additional training and extensive experience in pediatric optometry.
Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Missouri Optometric Association, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH-PA), and the Arnold Rotary Club. One of her special interests is volunteering on mission trips to Haiti and rural Guatemala once or twice a year to provide eye care to the material poor.
Dr. Wilson has been awarded one of the Top 26 Best Healthcare Professionals of 2014 in the U.S. by the American Society of Healthcare Professionals. Membership is extended solely to a select few of the most qualified healthcare professionals from each state who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature, and public profile. She also has been recently inducted into the Franklin Harms Society for serving on over 20 VOSH mission trips facilitating the provision and sustainability of vision care for people who can neither afford nor obtain such care.
She is an Arnold native and St. Pius X graduate. She attends Immaculate Conception church and lives with her family in Barnhart.
